50th Anniversary

Welcome to the 50th Anniversary Celebration Headquarters!

Due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, the in-person celebration has been canceled.  Look out for more information via email in the coming weeks.

At the request of National Hadassah, Camp Young Judaea Midwest was established in 1969 by Miriam Soboroff (Chicago) and Betty Bienstock (Detroit), representing the Hadassah Zionist Youth Commissions of the Midwest. It was established to be the summer expression of the national Zionist Youth Movement, Young Judaea, for children ages 8-14.
Now, 50 summers… five thousand campers… and a million memories later, alumni and friends are cordially invited to join CYJ Midwest, as we celebrate our golden anniversary!

Within these 50th Anniversary Celebration pages, you’ll find registration, event schedule, sponsors, a photo gallery and much more.
